2008 CDN Channel Elite Bronze Award Winner
The Bronze award went to ITnorth.ca for its Microsoft SBS server solution for Tumbler Ridge, a town challenged by outdated technology. A quaint, isolated town in British Columbia, Tumbler Ridge needed a vendor who could deliver a computer and network system that connected the town to the rest of the province, offered reliable equipment, and deliver fast, responsive customer service. ITnorth.ca's solution provided a solution that relieves the town council of the worries of slow network performance and lax security so that town council can focus on the business of running their city.

Earlier this month I wrote about our 2008 IMPACT Awards that took place on November 13, highlighting the more than 30 SBSCs part of the finalists pool across the 32 categories in Canada. We have had a busy month since, but I would like to take a moment to share the results.
