IT RMM Technician – PSS2102 ( This position will be based out of one of the ESW-IT offices: Calgary, Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Fort St. John or Victoria)

The Position Highlights

  • RMM Technician

Commitment and Term

  • full-time, permanent
  • hours: Monday-Friday 8 am – 5 pm, with some after-hours support required as needed

Primary Focus

  • We are looking for a RMM Technician for the Managed Services (MSP) department.
  • It is expected that you will set an example for the other members and follow company policy when dealing with clients
  • Working with MSP Team to solve problems
  • Provide technical support for our MSP service
  • Provide training to other members of the team

Skills and Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience as a technical specialist in RMM
  • Post-secondary education in a computer related discipline such as Computer Engineering would be preferred
  • Alternatively, an appropriate combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Have technical abilities and experience with N-central. Experience with any other major RMM tool (Kaseya, LabTech, Auto task) will also be accepted.
  • Have documentation skills
  • Be well organized and have time excellent time management skills.

Other Desirable skills and experience

  • This role requires good time management skills and an ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Be able to work reliably on their own or as part of a team.

Job Description

  • Service delivery training
  • Assisting in Reviewing MSP agreements
  • Maintaining N-central templates
  • Tier 1-2 MSP resource providing support including root cause analysis, testing and documentation.
  • MSP Operational training
  • tasks assigned by Team Lead
  • General communications
  • Act as an escalation point for client service issues
  • Investigating, troubleshooting, problem solving and resolving technical infrastructure related issues.
  • Build and maintain an in-depth knowledge of ESW-IT MSP services and offerings
  • Develop and update MSP technical documentation
  • Following Change Management Procedures when deploying changes to the varying environments.
  • Assist with planning or implementation of small to complex projects
  • Maintain client commitments related to service delivery requirements.
  • Assisting in the development and delivery of automated Managed Service Products

Working Conditions

  • This position will be based out of one of the ESW-IT offices: Calgary, Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Fort St. John or Victoria
  • This role requires good time management skills and an ability to work with minimal supervision
  • The successful candidate must comply with the safety standards of ESW-IT and/or its client

  • Will report to the MSP Team Lead, the MSP Coordinator, and/or the Director of PSS operations.
