Course Length: AM Course

Description: This course introduces students to terminology and basic computer skills with the Windows operating system. At the end of the course students should understand common computer terms, the function of the operating system and the function of application programs. Students will be able to use basic Windows commands and understand file management. Finally, students are introduced to basic text entry and editing techniques.

Please note that this course is most effective if students can practice on their own computer after classes.

Prerequisites: None, but it is helpful if students have their own computer.
